Gardens, Traditions, Fashion & Flavors in a Picturesque Galilean Village – SOLD OUT
Dates & Times
SOLD OUT
A fascinating meeting with three Galilean women.
We open the day with coffee, tea, and cake on a tour of the Almona Gardens, combined with the story and faith of the garden designer, about love, the language of flowers, reincarnations, and a magical combination of therapeutic styling — connecting interiors and the environment, fabrics, samples and inspiration, guided by Orna Rothbert Nitzan.
From the garden, we will continue to the ancient alleys of Julis, for a tour guided by Ayelet Bar Meir, following the story of the village, the Druze in Israel and the world, the structure of the ancient village, houses, courtyards, and the tomb of the spiritual father of the Druze, Sheikh Amin Tarif.
We will end with hospitality in an old and traditional building with a fascinating meeting with the owners, coffee, and refreshments from Basma Hino’s kitchen, seasoned with the exciting story of her life.
Refreshments include: zaatar fatayer, muajnat (za’atar and cheese, meat sambusak), vegetable platter
