Julia Winery hosts Philharmonic In The Countryside with an exciting musical performance by the Michel Segaraoui Trio. Fine music, Julia’s boutique wines, and refreshments on the beautiful winery terrace in the quiet and pastoral village of Mi’ilya.
What’s on the program?
Annan Araf, winemaker and owner of the Julia family boutique winery, will tell the story of the winery – a story of love for the land, the vineyard, and creation. We will also learn about the different wines found at the winery.
Live performance by the Michel Segaraoui Trio – an exciting musical encounter between jazz and Arabic music, between East and West.
The event will be hosted by David Gru from Philharmonic In The Countryside, who will guide you through the story of the place, the connection to Julia Winery, and an uplifting circular conversation.
We will hear the stories of ancient wine and the history of wine production in the Galilee, interspersed with live music.
Philharmonic In The Countryside – Owned by David Gru, bassoon player and music teacher. He was a principal player in the Israeli Opera Orchestra for 30 years. David and Dana Gru host concerts in Kfar Vradim in the living room of their large house and on the balcony overlooking the stunning Galilean view.
The Julia Winery – A family winery owned by Anan Araf, a second-generation winemaker.
