A One-Time Encounter with Creation, Performers & Creators – ”Partners” at the Zikit Theater

Visual theater? Puppets? Dance? Shadows? Storytellers? What is hidden behind a creation that combines different artistic languages? Why does this combination manage to touch us more?
We will begin the encounter by watching the repertory play “Partners” (about an hour) and then we will have an open dialogue with the creators and actresses, in which the viewers will be exposed to the fascinating process of working on the creation.
”Partners” is a play that is an artistic and human mosaic on a stage in the Galilee, three women meet and present life episodes, challenges along the way, aspiration, passion, and a journey to creation. In different artistic languages of dance, pantomime, puppets, shadow puppets, and stories, they move between the universal and the personal. Fragments come together into an associative fabric that evokes connection and interpretation in each viewer. The “participants” are a dancer from Germany, a mime from the USSR, and a storyteller from Tamra. In the play, they reveal both the separate and the unifier.
