Yaarit Stern and Nohad Bisan ― confectioners from the Galilee with a great love for dough, tradition and human encounters ― invite you to their third workshop together.
After two inspiring encounters, the two continue to explore and create a connection between the world of yeast pastries, patisserie, and the aromas of Druze cuisine ― in practical, professional, and joyful workshop.
What Will We Make Together in the Workshop (an active and practical workshop):
- Yeast Pastries:
- A soft and impressive chocolate curled rose
- Cinnamon roll with a perfect white glaze
- Specially designed cheesecakes
- Rolled dates and nuts with a traditional aroma
- Safta’s turmeric macaroon cookies
- With a professional demonstration:
- Luqmat al-Basha ― a delicate dairy dessert with pistachio
- A perfect knafe with a precise balance of crispness and syrup
We will work with our hands in the dough, learn kneading and rising techniques, proper design and professional tips that will take home baking a step further ― in a warm, pleasant, delicious, and inspiring atmosphere. Throughout the workshop, a pampering refreshment of vegetables, dips and sweets will be served, and at the end you will leave with a pampering package of your handmade products.
